Dear Knovel Engineering Challenge participants,
Welcome! We are so happy to see you all. This is not a very short application form so please be patient while filling it out.
Engineering Challenge is a two staged project competition organized by Elsevier for engineering faculties of universities. Necessary tools(Knovel access) and product guidance will be given to teams once they apply and qualify as a team.
Please form a team from your university(undergraduate only/ graduate only/ mixed both undergraduate and graduate students can enter this competition as a team). So before filling out this form please form your teams. The team members have to be from the same university and they can have maximum 4 people excluding their instructors/professors. Every team should also assign a a relevant instructor/professor from the faculty and the form should be filled together with all team members. Please use your university emails when signing in check it frequently:) Please fill the application form until 29/03/2021.
Only teams who fill this form will qualify to attend the Challenge. The Engineering Challenge questions will be announced on 31.03.2021, Wednesday at 10am(GMT+3) and teams will be informed prior on how to access the questions. The first phase will be live for 48 hours to answer. Please check your emails for Knovel Engineering Challenge titled emails. The first 30 teams who answer the questions correctly will qualify for stage 2.
The 30 teams qualifying will be informed via email. We will announce the detail of stage 2 once stage 1 is complete. All 30 teams will receive certificates for qualifying to stage 2.
The overall winner of the Engineering Challenge will have their case study published in
Elsevier.com pages and social media channels, will have the chance to meet with Elsevier's engineering senior team and present the challenge story and will receive a certificate/plate for winning the challenge.
