KOHAis an open source library automation system. Developed in January 2000 for the Horowhenua Library Foundation in New Zealand, KOHA is today a constantly updated library automation program by its developers spread around the world. Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Library has started to use KOHA since the beginning of 2012.
The system, which was upgraded in 2015, was upgraded to a newer version in 2021. Features such as sending e-mails and exporting data to bulk catalog are enabled.
