What are Clinical Trials?
 
Clinical trials are conducted to determine the most effective and safest treatment for a disease. Each study aims to improve survival rates or reduce the side effects—including long-term effects—of a treatment. In recent years, many journals have ceased considering studies that lack an NCT number. ClinicalTrials.gov is a study protocol registry system based in the United States and serves as a vital database, particularly for the registration of pharmaceutical and interventional studies.
 
Our university is integrated with the system at https://register.clinicaltrials.gov/. Researchers who wish to register or record their studies may submit their requests to the email address: kutuphane@gelisim.edu.tr.
