Dear Researcher,

The Istanbul Gelisim University Journal of Health Sciences will publish a special issue in 2027 titled “Digital Ethics and Data Governance in Healthcare: Clinical, Technological and Social Dimensions.” The special issue is planned for publication in July 2027.

Subheadings:

•       Clinical decision support systems and data-driven applications in health sciences
•       Data management in patient monitoring, rehabilitation, and remote healthcare technologies.
•       Data security and integration in medical devices and digital health technologies.
•       Digital applications in nutrition, metabolism, and lifestyle data.
•       Data ethics and artificial intelligence applications in laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic systems .
•       Data management and patient safety in intensive care and critical clinical settings.
•      Managing digital health data for specific groups (pediatric, geriatric, disabled, etc.)
•       Digital ethics, data literacy, and clinical practices for healthcare professionals.
•       Blockchain and cryptocurrency -based data security and management in healthcare.

Our journal operates in accordance with the open access philosophy. The article review period in our journal is 60 days. Each article is evaluated by at least two doctoral-level reviewers, and in cases of a tie (one acceptance, one rejection), a third reviewer's opinion is sought. Editorial processes are meticulously managed.

Features of our journal:

* Our journal started publication in 2017 and has been indexed in ULAKBİM TR Dizin since 2020. * Our journal is in the process of being indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
* The publication language of our journal is English.
* Research articles, reviews, and case reports are published.
* DOI numbers are assigned to articles.

The start date of the pre-screening, formatting, and peer-review process: The date the articles are received by our journal.
The start date for the final proofreading and publication queue process of accepted articles is: June 30, 2027.
