Dear Faculty Member,
The use of iThenticate and TURNITIN similarity detection tools, opened to all universities with the TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM EKUAL Agreement and the coordination of the Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS) Association, will continue in 2021.
In order to use the systems, academic staff who meet the following conditions must send their requests to the e-mail address (
kutuphane@gelisim.edu.tr) via their corporate e-mail account. An account will be created for them in a short time and an automatic message will be sent to them to create a password. User guides are attached.

IMPORTANT NOTE: IThenticate smilarity tool should not be used for theses. TURNITIN should be used in thesis controls. Students' use of TURNITIN takes place in a different way. Our students can use TURNITIN through their advisors. Our teachers can create a class for our students and share only the ID and password information of that class with them. In this way, they can enable them to upload their files to the system. It is reported that the access of one or both tools may be cut off for universities that do not take these warnings into consideration.
User guides are attached.
Regards.
